The Sounds of Silence

Don't get me wrong I love my Family Dearly but I am enjoying the Peace and Tranquillity VERY much :0)

Suppose I had better explain my Daughter and Grandson (who share the house with me) and my Mother (who lives 10 minutes away) left late yesterday for 10 days in Tassie. This morning I have woken up to a Beautiful Sunny day and Silence...can't wipe the smile off my face :0)))

I know I will miss them (my daughter especially at dinner time.. I hate cooking) and 10 days is long enough not to see them and snuggle with my special little man but for now I am soaking in all Peace and Quiet and enjoying my own company. Ahhhhhhhh!!!!! Bliss.

I'm off now to sit out the back with a cup of tea and listen to the birds,then I'm going to start rearranging the house.

New Workshop

Meet Bruce my Aussie Ocker bear. Bruce is 4 1/2" tall and is wearing his work boots, singlet and stubbies. I will be teaching Bruce in a 2 day workshop at The Art of Teddy Bears in Haberfield on the 2nd & 3rd of April.

The Fair is on this Sunday 6th of March at the Southee complex Olympic park. Doors open at 10am to early bird ticket holders ,click here to purchase your tickets.
This is always a Great show with a good line up of Artists from all over Australia as well as the best Suppliers so don't miss it.

The Silly Season

I have just attended my last show for the year is. Mittagong was on today I had a good day it was good catching up with everyone before Christmas.
Time to sit back now and relax with just a few things to do before Christmas is upon us.
Let me see there is a project for Bear Creations, the house to decorate, the tree to trim, the family Christmas lunch  to plan, presents to buy, presents to make for family and friends (I like to make as many of my gifts as I can ), 3 secret Santa presents to organise and a Partridge in a pear tree. Yep definitely time to relax !!
It really is the Silly Season.

2 Sleeps to go !!

until the Mittagong Doll and bear show. It is on this Sunday the 21st of Nov at the Mittagong RSL club starting at 10am. This is a great show which has been running for quite a few years now.
Why not come and visit the show and perhaps add a creation or two to your collection while spending the day or maybe the weekend in the beautiful Southern Highlands.

Exciting news the Bears that Care auction is now accepting online bids up till 12 midday on the 12th of Nov.
