The Silly Season
I have just attended my last show for the year is. Mittagong was on today I had a good day it was good catching up with everyone before Christmas.
Time to sit back now and relax with just a few things to do before Christmas is upon us.
Let me see there is a project for Bear Creations, the house to decorate, the tree to trim, the family Christmas lunch to plan, presents to buy, presents to make for family and friends (I like to make as many of my gifts as I can ), 3 secret Santa presents to organise and a Partridge in a pear tree. Yep definitely time to relax !!
It really is the Silly Season.
Cheers
Lyn

2 Sleeps to go !!
until the Mittagong Doll and bear show. It is on this Sunday the 21st of Nov at the Mittagong RSL club starting at 10am. This is a great show which has been running for quite a few years now.
Why not come and visit the show and perhaps add a creation or two to your collection while spending the day or maybe the weekend in the beautiful Southern Highlands.
For more information about the show click on the banner in my side bar.
I will try (probably tomorrow) and put up a sneak peek of some of my new creations.
Hope to see you there
Cheers Lyn

Home from the Woodend show
Arrived home this afternoon from attending the Woodend show for the first time had an absolute blast.
We decided to make a road trip out of it and I travelled with my good friend Raewyn . We took the return trip over two days and indulged in some much deserved retail therapy on the way (although I do have to say Raewyn indulged a bit more than me).
Thanks to Kerri and her many helpers for the effort put into making this a fantastic show. Even though the weather was against them (arctic temperature and heavy rain) the show was an unmitigated success, not an easy task.
I for one will be back next year, can't wait. Although next year I will be better prepared for the cold Victorion weather and perhaps not turn blue.
Looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight, there's no place like home.
