New Shoes!!

We took my 2 year old Grand daughter shopping for new winter shoes the other day. She is quite the trendy one for her age just loves shopping for new clothes and shoes and knows exactly what she wants.

She had it all planned out she was getting a pair of booloo (blue ) shoes with flowers nere ( pointing to the middle of the top of her foot ) and SPARKLES. Not a tall order to fill at all !!

Once we entered the shop she was in heaven and quickly set about picking shoes to try ( not one blue pair amongst them ). After trying MANY pairs of beautiful shoes we finally settled on a lovely mushroom pink pair of Ciao court shoes with Diamanté studs on the strap (not a flower in sight). She was just a little disappointed the purple sparkle shoes didn't fit.

After paying for them her mother gave her the bag with her new shoes in to hold while we packed up. Taking our eyes off her for only a few seconds we turned around to find her in seventh heaven at the sale table filling her bag with as many pretty shoes as she could (how embarrasment).

Thankfully the shop assistant thought it was cute and rather funny which I suppose it was but it didn't seem so at the time.

All I can say is watch out Emelda because Hayley is on the way.

Mittagong Doll & Bear Show

It's that time of the year again the Mittagong show is on this Sunday 6th Nov at the Mittagong RSL Auditorium.

Sadly I won't make it this year (grumble grumble) hate missing out.

This is a great show with loads of good Doll and Bear artists for collectors and plenty of supplies for the makers.
I strongly advise you pop along and check it out for yourselves as I think it is one of the last shows for this year.

"Scary" Christmas is way too close. :0}

Woodend Show

Feeling pretty Bummed today !! I should be on a road trip right now with my friend Raewyn heading to the Woodend bear show tomorrow. Unfortunately health issues have prevented me from attending (sigh).

I guess I should try and look at it from the bright side.. Hmmmm!! Nope can't find one :o((

Anyway Hi and Hugs to all who are attending ( traders and collectors ) and I hope you have a Great day ( she says with a grimace on her face).

If you have never been or are tossing up whether you should go or not "You Should" it's a Fantabulous show with a great atmosphere and an abundance of world class Artists. Well worth the effort.

Ok ( she says with a sigh ) I'm going now to wallow in my own self pity for a bit longer, see you all there next year.

Hugs

Great Day at Habberfield

I taught a workshop at The Art of Teddy Bears in Habberfield on Saturday and had the best day.
Even though Melissa has only been in the new shop for a couple of weeks it's a pleasure to be in.
The building itself is heritage and oozes charm, and with Melissa's sense of flair for decorating it's a real Aladdin's cave of treasures.
If you haven't had a chance to visit yet you should call in and have a look around. Check out the up and coming Workshops, buy supplies or find that special gift you have been looking for.
I know you won't leave empty handed  :o)
